'Perfect match?': Sandro's photo with Aniela triggers 'shipping' frenzy among netizens

Fans and followers of Ilocos Norte 1st district Rep. Sandro and Cavite 7th district Rep. Aniela Tolentino were quick to "ship" for the two neophyte solons after the former posted a photo of them together on her Facebook.

The photos, uploaded on Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 13, were taken during the birthday lunch of President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. in Malacañang.

Of the five photos, Tolentino and Rep. Marcos's snapshot together easily received the most reactions and comments.

Netizens didn't hold anything back when it came to their comments about the two co-members of the House Committee on Rules.

"The future president and first lady," Facebook user Lheonardo Justo wrote, referring to the two.

For commenter Lalisa LJ RJ, the Ilocos Norte solon and Cavite solon are a "Perfect match."

Another commenter, Omel Aceret Viernes, agreed with this observation. "Bagay na bagay! (Perfect match!)" he said.

Norelyn Parra Bodoso echoed these sentiments and wrote that the pair was "looking good".

"Ang pogi talaga ni Sandro Marcos (Sandro Marcos is really handsome)," Marites Candelario chimed in about the presidential son, who is the senior deputy majority leader in the House of Representatives.

Tolentino is an assistant majority leader. She is the daughter of former Deputy Speaker Abraham Tolentino.

 

To "ship" two people together is slang for wishing that the couple is in an actual relationship.
