What's more amusing than President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. and Cagayan de Oro City 2nd district Rep. Rufus flashing their megawatt smiles together?

Having Ilocos Norte 1st district Rep. Sandro Marcos photobomb the north and south smile-off, that's what.

The happy accident took place Tuesday night, Sept, 13, during the President’s birthday bash in Malacañang. The elder Marcos, who hails from Ilocos Norte, had just turned 65.

Invited to the Palace shindig was Rodriguez, who incidentally shared the same birthday as the Chief Executive.

"We both have the same birthdate! Naka save nako ug pangblow-out, thank you Mr. President! " the 65-year-old Mindanao solon would later write tongue-in-cheek in a Facebook post.

Rodriguez's upload came with several photos from the event, one of which was his selfie with President Marcos. And, in that particular photo, we find the President’s eldest son, 28-year-old Rep. Marcos innocently looking at the camera from behind the two birthday celebrants.

A bunch of other House members attended the birthday bash aside from Reps. Marcos and Rodriguez. The former is the senior deputy majority leader, while the latter chairs the Housec Committee on Constitutional Amendments.
