46 wanted persons nabbed in week-long manhunt in Cordillera

CAMP DANGWA, Benguet – The Police Regional Office-Cordillera arrested 46 wanted persons in a week-long manhunt operation from Sept. 4 to 10.

The PRO-Cordillera Regional Investigation and Detective Management Division (RIDMD) said the Baguio City Police Office arrested 17 wanted persons, followed by the Benguet Provincial Police Office with 12; Kalinga PPO, 10; Abra PPO, three; and Ifugao PPO and Apayao PPO, two each.

Brig. Gen. Mafelino Bazar, PRO-Cordillera director, said five individuals listed as most wanted were arrested – one provincial level, two municipal level, and two station level.

One of the provincial level most wanted was Federico Drapeza Ochinang who was arrested by the Baguio CPO for lascivious conduct in relation to Republic Act 7610.

Among other arrested on various levels were Ronald Acdowang Mangay-ayam, Eugenio Batoy Bakilan Jr., and John Raven Terbio Tion.
