A fire gutted a one-storey personnel barracks at the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) headquarters in Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City on Monday, Sept. 13.
The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Public Information Office said the fire was raised to first alarm at around 5:56 p.m. It was declared under control at around 6:36 p m. and was extinguished at around 7:07 p.m.
Investigators placed an estimated P12,000,000 damage to property caused by the fire.
No one was hurt during the incident.
Probers are still looking into the possibility that the incident was caused by faulty electrical wires (service line) that started at the ceiling portion of the barracks.
