Laborer accused of rape arrested in Calamba

LAGUNA – A laborer accused of rape was arrested in a manhunt operation in Barangay Parian, Calamba City on Sunday, Sept. 11.

Calamba City Police Station (CPS) identified the accused as Mike Alfuente Pranada, 20.

Authorities nabbed Pranada by virtue of an arrest warrant without bail issued by the Family Court Branch 8 in Calamba.

Pranada was charged with rape in November 2021.

The accused is currently under the custody of Calamba CPS.

In a statement, Laguna Police Provincial Office (PPO) officer-in-charge Col. Randy Glenn G. Silvio said they are intensifying their manhunt operations against the most wanted persons in the province to provide justice to victims of crimes.
