House lauds Metrobank Foundation's 'Outstanding Filipinos of 2022'
Four teachers, three police officers, and three soldiers were recognized by the House of Representatives for exemplary service in their respective professions.

The 10 individuals were dubbed the "Outstanding Filipinos of 2022" by the Metrobank Foundation–Metrobank Group’s corporate social responsibility arm.
They were hailed in order to “highlight the professional achievements and personal triumphs of those in the academe, military, and police who live by the values of patriotism, integrity, and resourcefulness, and fulfill their social responsibilities in the performance of their duties".
In this regard, House Resolution (HR) 345 was filed to extend the House’s congratulations toward the 10 individuals.
The teacher-awardees are Junmerth Jorta of Bukidnon; Christine Joy Aguila, Ph.D, of Quezon City; Leonila Dans, M.D, of the City of Manila; and Mark Nolan Confesor, Ph.D, of Iligan.
Three police officers, namely, Executive Master Sergeant Rogelio Rodriguez Jr.; Captain Rosalino Panlaqui; and Colonel Lambert Suerte were similarly feted.
From the military, Technical Sergeant Joel Tuganan, Colonel Maria Victoria Juan, and Colonel Stephen Cabanlet were lauded for their service.
House Speaker Martin Romualdez, House Majority Leader Mannix Dalipe, House Minority Leader Marcelino Libanan, Senior Deputy Majority Leader Sandro Marcos, and Tingog Party-list Rep. Jude Acidre filed HR 345.
