K-pop idol group NCT Dream draws 135,000 fans to two-day Seoul concert

K-pop boy band NCT Dream finished their two-day concert in Seoul that drew 135,000 fans in-person and online.

NCT Dream held their "The Dream Show 2: In A Dream" on Sept. 8 and 9 at the Seoul Olympic Stadium.

The concert was originally scheduled last July 29 to 31 at Gocheok Sky Dome but was canceled after two members of NCT Dream tested positive for Covid-19.

According to SM Entertainment, the two-day concert was watched by 135,000 fans in-person and online from 102 countries and regions. The concert on Sept. 9 was broadcast live through Beyond Live to allow fans to watch it online.

NCT Dream performed their songs including “Beatbox,” “Hello Future,” “We Go Up,” “Better than Gold” and “Rainbow” for a total of 29 songs.

During a press conference before the concert on Sept. 8, NCT Dream talked about the show.

"I am feeling all sorts of emotions right now because honestly, our road to this stadium was pretty bumpy," said Mark, according to the Korea Times.

Jeno said they were surprised when they learned that they would be performing at Seoul Olympic Stadium.

"We were quite pressured in the beginning and wondered if we would be able to fill up all the seats. But as we prepared for the show, our worries gradually disappeared and we came to enjoy the entire process," he said.

According to Renjun, "We will display a lot of performances showing our chemistry and perform songs of diverse genres."

During the show, Jeno said, "Since the name of our team is NCT DREAM, 'THE DREAM SHOW1' was about us diving into our dreams. This time, our members, who are already living out their dreams, will invite you to where we are so that we can hang out together."
