Hanteo Chart names best-selling albums for the month of August in Korea

K-pop groups IVE, ATEEZ, TWICE, The Boyz and NewJeans topped the monthly album chart in South Korea for the month of August.

Korea’s Hanteo Chart released the list of the best-selling albums for the month of August.

Girl group IVE topped the August monthly album chart with “After Like,” selling 949,040 copies with an equivalent physical record index of 899,260.

Hanteo Chart now uses the physical record index in ranking the top albums, a system in which the price of the album is incorporated in the tally.

ATEEZ’s “The World Ep. 1: Movement” ranked second with 626,545 copies sold and an index of 702,846.

TWICE’s “Between 1 & 2” placed third with 519,192 copies sold in August with an index of 648,990.

The Boyz’s “Be Aware” is in fourth place with 503,928 copies in sales and an index of 573,637.

Rookie girl group NewJeans’ “New Jeans” grabbed fifth place with 354,554 copies sold and an index of 416,948.

Here is Hanteo Chart’s monthly physical album chart for August 2022 based on the physical index record:
