Baguio, Mountain Province mobile police units, NUP feted at 121st PSA

CAMP DANGWA, Benguet – The Police Regional Office-Cordillera Administrative Region awarded two police units and one non-uniformed personnel during the 121st Police Service Anniversary celebration attended by President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. in Camp Crame, Quezon City Monday, August 8.

The Baguio City Mobile Force Company and the 1st Mountain Province Mobile Force Company were hailed as Best City and Provincial Mobile Force Company.

The awards were presented by Marcos, assisted by Secretary Benjamin Abalos Jr. of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) and the chief PNP, Police Major Gen. Rodolfo Azurin Jr.

The awards were personally received by the commander of the Baguio MFC, Police Lt. Col. Renny Lizardo, and commander of the 1st Mountain Province MFC Police Lt. Col. Roy Awisan.

Non-Uniformed Personnel Mary Jean Bañaga of the Regional Logistics and Research Development Division (RLRDD) was named Best Non-Uniformed Personnel for Non-Supervisory Level.

Police Col. Glenn Lonogan, city police chief, congratulated the awardees. He said the awards are proof of their excellent service in peace and order and community relations in the region.
