Woman yields nearly P347,000 shabu in Taguig

A woman was arrested by the police for illegal drugs during a buy-bust operation in Taguig on Aug. 6.

Southern Police District director Brig. Gen. Jimili Macaraeg identified the suspect as Caironisah Mangubat Abuat, a resident of Taguig who was tagged by the police as an alleged drug pusher.

The SPD’s Drug Enforcement Unit together with the District Investigation Divisino and District Mobile Force Battalion launched a buy-bust operation at a malll in Barangay Western Bicutan, Taguig.

Seized during the operation were two plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing 51 grams with a value of P346,800, one motorcycle, and P550 buy-bust money.

The arrested suspect was brought to the SPD DDEU for documentation and disposition.

“SPD will remain steadfast in our mission to keep our area of responsibility free from illegal drugs,” said Macaraeg.
