Lady motorcycle thief nabbed in Nueva Vizcaya


BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya – The timely arrival of responding authorities resulted in the arrest of a lady thieve who was about to leave on board a motorcycle she allegedly stole on Sunday, August 7.

The suspect, identified as Jennicar Trixie Paderes, 28, and a native of Barangay Dila, Sta. Rosa, Laguna, was arrested at Purok 3, Barangay Masoc Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya at around 11:00 in the morning on Sunday.

Based on the report of the Nueva Vizcaya Police Provincial Office, residents in the said ‘purok’ were alarmed by a suspicious motorcycle left at the residence of Felamie Christy Abella.

The Abellas themselves made the effort to call the police and reported that there was a motorcycle parked in their area.

In the nick of time, the Nueva Vizcaya Provincial Highway Patrol Team (NVPHPT) and the Bayombong Police arrived at Barangay Masoc and saw a lady who was about to leave on board the motorcycle type Motoposh.

The responding policemen asked the suspect to show pertinent documents of said motorcycle but could not show any.

Police learned that the motorcycle was stolen. The police immediately effected the arrest and informed the suspect of her constitutional rights under the Miranda Doctrine.

Also a witness revealed that on August 5, 2022 at about 5:00 a.m. the suspect left the motorcycle at the said place.

The suspect together with the recovered motorcycle was brought to Bayombong Police Station. .

Meanwhile, police said that on July 27, 2022 they were able to entertain a walk-in complainant John Anthony Legaspi, 26, a mechanic and a resident of Barangay, Buyabuyan, Lagawe, Ifugao who said his motorcycle Motoposh, color black, was missing.
