Gold Aceron is first actor signed by O/C Records

Gold Aceron couldn't be more grateful as the first actor to be signed by O/C Records.


"I'm thankful for being part of this team," said Gold during a Zoom with the entertainment press recently.

Gold said he immediately said yes when approached by Kean Cipriano, former vocalist of the pop-rock OPM band Calla Lily, if he wanted to be managed by O/C Records. "From pandemic, may kumontak sa akin para sa isang music video, 'yung music video na ‘Ligaya.’ Nakita po ako ni Kuya Kean doon, napanood niya po lahat. Nag-thank you siya sa akin. Tapos kinausap po ako ni Kuya Kean. ‘Gold, may manager ka na ba?’ Sabi ko freelance model ako, so wala." And the rest is history.


Gold recently appeared in the Vivamax movie "Scorpio Nights 3" opposite Christine Bermas.

Asked about his strength in doing daring roles, Gold said: "Hinuhugot ko sya para mas maintindihan ng tao. Yung pinapakita ko rito, reality talaga na nangyayari sa mga tao. Nilalaban ko ang role ko kapag alam mo na may bagong matututunan ang mga tao rito. Nag-e-explore talaga ako. Ginagawa ko siya kasi gusto kong mabigyan ng kulay yung buhay na bawat character na ginagampanan ko."

Gold also revealed his dream roles. "Okay naman sa akin kung iba't ibang roles at iba't ibang characters ang ipapasa sa akin. Gusto kong subukan maging bulag, bingi, parang ganun. Nag-BL na rin ako, balutero, pusher, killer."

During the interview, Gold was in a lock-in taping but refused to reveal the project.

He will soon be seen in another Vivamax flick entitled "May, December, January."
