P1.6-M shabu seized from 4 drug suspects in Iloilo City

ILOILO CITY – At least P1.6 million suspected shabu was seized from four drug suspects in an anti-drug operation in Iloilo City.

FOUR drug suspects arrested in Iloilo City yielded P1.6 million worth of shabu. (PRO-6 RPDEU)

The suspects were identified as 28-year-old Moncarl Eulojio Alarde, 28-year-old Jhon Vincent Ybsernas Solinap, 29-year-old John Feeby “Jan-Jan” Vaiking Inayan, and 29-year-old Alberto Ybsernas Lopez.

They were arrested Thursday, August 4, by the Police Regional Office-Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit (RPDEU) and Iloilo City Police Office (ICPO) Station 2.

The suspects were nabbed after they tried to sell shabu to an undercover cop for P30,000.

Shabu weighing a total of 240 grams were recovered from the suspects. Police also seized a pistol and a magazine loaded with live ammunition from them.

Alarde, Solinap, and Inayan are high-value drug suspects and were previously arrested for drug charges. Lopez is a newly identified drug personality.

Police Brig. Gen. Flynn Dongbo, Western Visayas top cop, lauded the police units for another big accomplishment.

The suspects will be charged with violating Republic Act No. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
