Senator Imee Marcos bags a FAMAS award

IT’S a fabulous weekend of nostalgia and good vibes as Senator Imee Marcos takes her loyal YouTube viewers for another amazing ride in two brand new vlog entries that will surely delight her loyal supporters.

The hardworking senator, whose Creative Industries Bill is now officially a law, will first take her fans to an all-access pass in the star-studded premiere night of Maid In Malacañang that was recently mounted in The Block, SM City North EDSA. YouTubers can enjoy exclusive footage of Imee with Cesar Montano, Ruffa Guttierez, Diego Loyzaga, Karla Estrada, Elizabeth Oropesa, Ella Cruz, and Cristine Reyes among many others.

Imee’s next stop is the annual FAMAS Awards where she received the Exemplary Award In Public Service for her stellar contribution in the restoration of the Metropolitan Theater. Considered as a patroness and purveyor of pop culture and the arts, Senator Marcos started her journey as an artist at the Met where she starred in several stage productions in the late '70s.

Imee was also reunited with superstar Nora Aunor and Charo Santos whom she worked with in the movie Himala. It should be noted that Himala, which was produced by Imee in 1982 through the Experimental Cinema Of The Philippines (ECP) and is considered as the greatest Asian film of all time, is celebrating its 40th anniversary this 2022.
