A fire hit a residential area in Taguig on Aug. 4.
According to the Taguig City Fire Station, the fire started at No. 47 Purok 1 A, DOTC Compound in Barangay New Lower Bicutan owned by Roselyn Cambio.Â


The first alarm was raised at 1:40 p.m. and the fire was put under control at 2:08 p.m. before it was put out at 2:49 p.m.
Authorities said the fire affected 20 houses with 25 families or 72 individuals.
No one was injured in the blaze which damaged about P600,000 worth of properties. The cause of the fire is under investigation.Â
A total of 38 fire trucks including 11 from the Bureau of Fire Protection, and three ambulances responded to the incident.
