BAGUIO CITY – Police dismantled another suspected drug den and arrested four high value targets inside Wednesday, August 3, in San Carlos Heights Extention, Irisan, here.
Armed with a search warrant, the Irisan Police Station, National Bureau of Investigation, and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Baguio conducted the raid, accompanied by representatives from the barangay, Department of Justice, and media.
Police Col. Glenn Lonogan, city police chief, identified the suspects as Marivic Rodriguez, Cherryl Asim, Carlito Javier, and Joel Sales, residents here.
Six heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing shabu weighing 18 grams and valued at P122,400 were recovered in the house that serves as a drug den.
Also recovered were two opened transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu residue, two improvised all weather tooters with suspected shabu residue, and assorted drug paraphernalia.
Lonogan said they had been monitoring the suspects and the places they are turning into drug dens for a long time based on information from concerned citizens.
