Criminology student, two others nabbed in Pangasinan buy-bust

POZORRUBIO, Pangasinan – Three drug suspects, including a criminology student, were arrested during a buy-bust operation in Brgy. Banding in this town on Wednesday, August 3.

The Pozorrubio Police Station, backed by personnel of Regional Intelligence Division (RID) and Police Regional Police Office (PRO1) and Pangasinan Police Provincial Police Office, conducted the operation at around 12:33 p.m., leading to the arrest of the suspects.

The suspects were identified as Antonio Ardales, 30; Marvin Ardales, 28, who are both residents of Brgy. Ubagan, Sto Tomas, La Union; and Yvonne Rodrigo Ardales, 22, a criminology student and resident of Brgy. Banding, Pozorrubio, Pangasinan.

Six heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing dried leaves of marijuana with fruiting tops, two sachets containing shabu and marked P500 bill were found from the suspects, who had been under surveillance for almost a month.
