Brad Pitt credits Jackie Chan for his real-life stunts in 'Bullet Train'

Known as one of the lead stars of David Leitch’s “Bullet Train," Pitt recently opened up about how famous actor and stuntman Jackie Chan inspired him to do real-life stunts for the action film.

"He’s like our Charlie Chaplin, he’s just so underrated. And it’s so amazing the stuff that he’s pulled off. So to do something in that vein, with the comedy infused into the fights, I’ve never done that before," Pitt shared during his interview.

Pitt plays an assassin who boards a bullet train from Tokyo to Kyoto with the mission to collect a briefcase onboard while fending for his life against other trained killers.

Other stars in the film include Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Brian Tyree Henry, Bad Bunny, Joey King, and Zazie Beetz.

Being a former stunt coordinator, Leitch has also doubled for Pitt in some scenes during the film. Pitt channeled his inner Chan, learning the Hong Kong action with an American style from Dan Inosanto who became Bruce Lee's personal trainer.

Pitt’s real-life stunts in “Bullet Train” proved to be breakout scenes for the otherwise C-rated feature. His performance has proven that the actor has once again graced the movie screen with his incredible talent.
