Rizal police seize P350K marijuana; arrest pusher, buyer

A suspected pusher of dried marijuana leaves and his customer were arrested by the San Mateo Police during a buy-bust operation inAmpid 1, San Mateo, Rizal, the Provincial Office (PPO) said on Tuesday, Aug. 30.

Rizal PPO Director Col. Dominic Baccay said the seized marijuana leaves weighed almost three kilos and worth P350,040.

The alleged drug pusher and buyer of the marijuana leaves were identified as Marlon Doria and Raymond Christian Adriano.

Police said the buy-bust was conducted on Friday, Aug. 26, in Pitang Street, Barangay Ampid 1.

Doria handed a pack of the dried marijuana leaves to a policeman acting as a customer.

Adriano was reportedly the customer of Doria at the time of the buy-bust operation prompting operatives to arrest him too.

They are both detained at the custodial facility of the San Mateo Police Station.

Charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 have been filed against the suspects.
