Korean drama 'Extraordinary Attorney Woo' No. 1 on Netflix weekly chart for 7th time

The Korean drama “Extraordinary Attorney Woo” starring Park Eun-bin, Kang Tae-oh and Kang Ki-young continued its popularity on Netflix.

According to Netflix, “Extraordinary Attorney Woo” grabbed first place among non-English shows on its weekly Global Top 10 chart for Aug. 22 to 28, its seventh time to rule the ranking.

From Aug. 22 to 28, "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" is No. 1 on the Netflix chart while “Alchemy of Souls” placed third, “A Young Lady and Gentleman” in eighth place and  “A Model Family” grabbed ninth place (Netflix)

Netflix’s weekly Global Top 10 ranks the most watched shows and films on the platform.

In the top 10 non-English shows, “Extraordinary Attorney Woo” grabbed the No. 1 spot with 53.89 million hours viewed, compared to 77.43 million hours viewed from Aug. 15 to 21.

“On the Non-English TV List, fans continued to have a whale-sized good time with Korean drama ‘Extraordinary Attorney Woo.’ The series had an additional 53.89M hours viewed and sits at the sixth spot on the Most Popular List with 369.66M hours viewed,” according to Netflix.

Another Korean drama, “Alchemy of Souls,” placed third with 28.59 million hours viewed while “A Young Lady and Gentleman” is in eighth place with 8.78 million hours viewed and “A Model Family” grabbed ninth place with 8.13 million hours viewed.

From Aug. 22 to 28, “Extraordinary Attorney Woo” placed in the top 10 in 46 countries and regions including No. 1 in Bolivia, Chile, Peru, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Singapore, South Korea and Taiwan.
