K-pop group IVE tops weekly album chart with 'After Like' selling 924,000 copies

K-pop girl group IVE sold more than 924,000 copies of their new album to grab the No. 1 spot on the weekly album chart in Korea.

According to Hanteo Chart, IVE’s “After Like” tallied 924,363 copies in sales in one week and topped the weekly physical album chart for the period Aug. 22 to 28.

The total is also IVE’s first week sales for the new album. “After Like” sold 464,690 copies on the first day of release. IVE debuted last December with six members.

Hanteo Chart now ranks albums based on the physical record index, which includes the price of an album.

Placing second is TWICE’s “Between 1 & 2” with 325,932 copies sold followed by The Boyz’s “BE Aware” with 119,069 copies; CIX’s “OK Episode 1: OK Not” with 78,950 copies and Ha Sung-woon’s “Strange World” with 39,158 copies.
