CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – Four suspected drug pushers were arrested and more than P2.1-million worth of shabu were seized in separate anti-illegal drug operations in Pampanga and Bulacan Monday, August 1.
The Mabalacat City Police Drug Enforcement Unit and other law enforcement units conducted a buy-bust operation in Barangay Dau, Mabalacat that resulted in the arrest of three suspected drug pushers identified as Nympha, 50; Renato, 58; and Visitacion, 47.
Seized from them were knot-tied transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing more or less 250 grams with an estimated Dangerous Drug Board value of P1.7 million, P1,000 buy-bust money, two body bags, one digital weighing scale, P1,200 cash, and two Android cellphones.
Enmark Mirano, 35, was arrested in Barangay Poblacion, Guiguinto, Bulacan. Seized from him were 14 medium heat-sealed plastic containers containing suspected shabu weighing more or less 60 grams with an estimated DDB value of P408,000.
Appropriate charges for violating Republic Act No. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are being readied against the suspects.
Police Brig. Gen. Matthew Baccay, Police Regional Office 3 director, said that continuous proactive operations are being carried out they invigorate its efforts to wipe out all forms of illegal drugs in order to achieve its quest for a drug-free Central Luzon.
