Wilbert Tolentino's snaps with Miss Grand Int'l execs spark directorship rumors

Is Wilbert Tolentino set to head the Miss Grand International franchise here?

This is the question of some netizens after the National Director of Mr. Gay World Philippines and Miss Planet Philippines posted photos of him with the president and vice president of Miss Grand International organization, Nawat Itsaragrisil and Teresa Chaivisut, respectively.

His ward, viral online seller-turned-actress Daisy Lopez, aka Madam Inutz, reacted to the post.

She asked, "SIR KAYO NA BA ANG NATIONAL DIRECTOR SA PINAS OR UNDECIDED KA PA?"

Wilbert replied: "Madam inutz undecided ako kung ikaw ilalaban ko dun (rolling on the floor laughing emois)."

A few days ago, news about the Thailand-based pageant franchise being dropped by Binibining Pilipinas Charities, Incorporated (BPCI), circulated.

It all started with a post on a popular pageant account, grandpageant.

It read: "After losing Miss World, Miss Universe, and Miss Supranational franchises, now It's time for Miss Grand International."

"According to a recent Facebook live by P'Nawat, Miss Grand Philippines will make its debut next year, which will be organized by someone you will recognize."

"Roberta Tamondong will be the last Binibining Grand International," it added.

BPCI is yet to release a statement about the issue.
