Police arrest 19-year old man toying with gun in public in Solana, Cagayan

SOLANA, Cagayan – Police arrested a 19-year old man who was seen toying with a handgun in front of Solana municipal hall in Brgy. Centro Southeast in this town on Sunday, Aug. 28.

Police Regional Office 2 identified the suspect as Marlon Llano, a resident of Brgy. Centro Southwest.

Several residents saw the suspect sitting in front of LGU-Solana around 2:20 p.m. and playing with a handgun, apparently to impress people who passed by.

A concerned citizen immediately informed the Solana Police of the suspect’s activity.

Solana Police arrived in the area and immediately noticed something in the waist of the suspect.

The police conducted a body search on the suspect and found a .22 caliber loaded with five ammunition.

Suspect failed to present any documents for his hand gun, prompting PSSgt James Loren Gallebo and PSSg Ryan Baquiran to immediately arrest him.

The conduct of markings, inventory and taking of photographs was done in the presence of the suspect and witnessed by Brgy. Captain George Sedano of Brgy. Centro Southeast, Solana, Cagayan.
