Minimizing the turnovers became key to how TNT hacked out a 100-87 win against San Miguel in Game 4 of the PBA Philippine Cup Sunday, Aug. 28, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

The Tropang Giga only committed three turnovers—the lowest in a game in the league history—which enabled them to even the series at 2-2.
The presence of head coach Chot Reyes also brought out the A-game of the Tropang Giga as four members in Jayson Castro, Roger Pogoy, Mikey Williams and Kelly Williams scored in double digits.
Castro led all scorers with 26 points on a 10-of-13 shooting along with six rebounds and four assists, Pogoy fired 21 points, while Mikey and Kelly chipped in 15 and 14 points each.
Reyes already called the shots in Game 4 but it was assistant coach Sandy Arespacochaga who attended the post-match press conference.
"I'd like to apologize wala si coach Chot but coach Chot said that to make sure that I say that turnovers were very key for us," said Arespachochaga. "We had a lot of turnovers last game, 24 turnovers, so that's one, I think, on the list heading towards this game.
"We're quite happy with the way that the players responded, took care of the ball, and that's just not on one person, not just on Jayson or Mikey but everybody across the board."
On the other hand, the Beermen committed 15 turnovers.
Thanks to the pesky defense of Kelly against June Mar Fajardo, among other key defenders, Arespacochaga expressed satisfaction on both ends of the floor hoping that his wards would continue to do the same effort come Game 5 on Wednesday, Aug. 31, at the same venue.
"A lot of other players helped in pressuring the guards, offering help when needed. It was a team effort on both ends of the floor," he added.
