7 drug suspects fall, P850,000 shabu seized in Angeles City, Bataan
CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – Police arrested seven suspected drug personalities and more than P850,000 worth of shabu was seized during separate buy-bust operations in Angeles City and Bataan Friday, Aug. 26.
Police Regional Office (PRO)-3 director Police Brig. Gen. Cesar Pasiwen said the Angeles City Drug Enforcement Unit, Police Station 2, and other law enforcement units nabbed three drug personalities, all listed as high-value individuals, in Purok 1 Barangay Pampang, Angeles City.
Seized from them were five heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing more or less 110 grams with an estimated Dangerous Drug Board (DDB) value of P748,000 and the P500 marked money.
The Mariveles, Bataan police, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-Bataan, and PDEA-Nueva Ecija nabbed four persons and dismantled their drug den in Sitio Bakery, Barangay Alas-asin, Mariveles.
Recovered from them were eight heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing 15 grams valued at P103,500, P1,000 marked money, and drug paraphernalia.
"Central Luzon police will continue to launch operations as maximized efforts are being carried out to wipe out all forms of illegal drugs to, if not, stop the proliferation of illegal drugs in the region," Pasiwen said.
