Man wanted for attempted murder in Davao City nabbed in Pangasinan

SAN CARLOS CITY, Pangasinan – Police arrested Friday, Aug. 26, in Barangay PNR Site here a man wanted for attempted murder in Davao City.

The Pangasinan Police Provincial Office identified the suspect as Delmar Capuyan of Purok 1, Barangay Lubogan, Toril, Davao City.

Police said Capuyan had been residing in Barangay PNR Site for almost 10 years.

Investigation showed that the suspect had been back and forth to Davao City until he was involved in an incident in 2020.

Capuyan allegedly shot his victim who retaliated by hacking the suspect with a bolo.

The suspect was charged with attempted murder and a warrant of arrest dated July 30, 2021 was issued against him by Judge Mario C. Duaves, presiding judge, RTC, Eleventh Judicial Region, Branch 15, Davao City.

The court recommended P120,000 bail for Capuyan’s temporary liberty.
