22 drug suspects nabbed in 24 hours in Laguna – police

KAMPO HENERAL PACIANO RIZAL, Sta. Cruz, Laguna – Police arrested 22 drug suspects in a 24-hour operation in this province from Aug. 25 to 26.

Laguna police director Police Col. Randy Glenn Silvio said 20 were arrested in buy-bust operations while the two others in the implementation of warrants of arrest for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 or Republic Act 9165.

Four were arrested in Sta. Rosa City, four in Calamba City, four in San Pablo City, two in Liliw, two in Pangil, and one each in Famy, Alaminos, Kalayaan, Bay, and Siniloan.

Police said 9.23 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated value of P145,627 were seized from them.

Silvio cited the police for their accomplishments.
