UST grad tops August 2022 Medical Technologist Licensure Examination
Kharam Baricaua Molbog of the University of Santo Tomas (UST) emerged as the top-performing examinee for the August 2022 Medical Technologist Licensure Examination, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on Friday, Aug. 26.

PRC, in the official result, disclosed that 1,796 individuals out of 3,582 board takers have passed the exam. It was given by the Board of Medical Technology in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban Tuguegarao and Zamboanga from Aug. 20 to Aug. 21, 2022.
Among the top-performing schools for the said licensure exam were the following: University of the Immaculate Conception Davao with 88.57 percentage passed, De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute which recorded a rating of 88.53 percent, Trinity University of Asia Quezon City with 82.69 passing rate, and University of Baguio with 80.37 passing percentage.
Meanwhile, the Commission added that individuals who failed to pass the said exam but obtained a rating of at least 70 percent may register as Medical Laboratory Technician.
“The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees will be announced later,” it added.
