Parañaque Rep. Olivarez distributes assistance to individuals in crisis
Parañaque City 1st District Rep. Edwin Olivarez distributed assistance in crisis situation (AICS) to 162 qualified beneficiaries on Aug. 25.

The distribution was held at the Parañaque City Sports Complex.
The AICS is a program of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) in partnership with Rep. Olivarez’s Congressional District Office which accepted and screened the aid applications prior to Aug. 25 distribution.
“We are thankful to our friends from the DSWD National Capital Region (NCR) office for this timely assistance to our constituents,” Rep. Olivarez said.
According to Olivarez, the amount may not be that large but it still shows the city government is there to help our people who are in need.
Rep. Olivarez said the beneficiaries came from both District 1 and District 2 of Parañaque City, adding that the government does not discriminate based on political subdivisions but provides help based on actual and urgent needs of the population.
He said the beneficiaries were given medical, financial or burial cash assistance after a thorough screening and validation process conducted by both the DSWD and the Congressional District Office.
The congressman told the recipients that he would continue working in Congress to bring more benefits to the people of the city.
