Man arrested for raping housewife in Nueva Vizcaya

KASIBU, Nueva Vizcaya – Police arrested a 30-year-old man for allegedly raping a 28-year-old housewife here Wednesday, Aug. 24.

The victim told police that she had a drinking spree with friends, relatives, and the suspect, Roemar Vadil, in a wedding celebration Wednesday morning.

She said that the suspect brought her to his house when she was drunk and sexually abused her.

The victim, accompanied by her mother and sister-in-law, reported the incident to the police who immediately conducted a hot pursuit operation and arrested Vadil who was just a visitor of the celebration.

Suspect is now under the custody of the police for documentation prior to filing of appropriate charges against him in court.
