Drug den owner, 3 others nabbed in Bacolod buy-bust

BACOLOD CITY – The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-Negros dismantled a drug den in Barangay Estefania here and arrested its alleged owner Tuesday, Aug. 23.

PDEA identified the suspect as Marlon Treyes, 37, of Barangay Estefania.

Three others, including two women, were also arrested after they were allegedly caught holding a pot session inside the house of Treyes during the buy-bust operation.

PDEA seized 15 grams of suspected shabu worth P102,000 from them.

According to a PDEA agent, who requested anonymity, Treyes was a drug surrenderer and was scheduled to undergo a community-based rehabilitation program of the barangay but he tested positive in a drug test.

One of the suspects was reported to PDEA through the “Isumbong Mo Kay Wilkins” hotline.
