Ruffa Gutierrez to graduate from college at 48, preps for master's degree

"Maid In Malacanang" star Ruffa Gutierrez shared another milestone on social media.

On Instagram, Ruffa announced that she will be graduating from college next week after 34 years in showbiz.

“Don’t downgrade your dream just to fit your reality. Upgrade your conviction to match your destiny," wrote Ruffa on social media.

The 48-year-old actress-beauty queen also shared her official graduation picture.

"I humbly want to share that I have graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts from the Philippine Women’s University under the Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program (ETEEAP). I am now gearing up for PWU’s 99th Commencement Exercises at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) next week," she said.

Ruffa also said this would not have been possible without the continuous guidance of PWU‘s ETEEAP team of professionals and the immeasurable support of her loved ones.

"Because of my enduring commitment to continuously seeking knowledge and equipping myself with new skills that will help me prosper and fulfill my dreams in the ever-changing global scene, I also proudly share with you that I am officially an MA-ComArts student at PWU. The journey continues - unstoppable!," the mother of two added. "To God be the glory!"
