Quezon City bettor wins P72.2 million in Mega Lotto 6/45

A solo bettor from Quezon City won the Mega Lotto 6/45 jackpot prize worth P72,205,456.80 on the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO)'s evening draw on Monday, Aug. 22.

The winning numbers were 20-33-30-10-08-34 according to PCSO's advisory.

Also, 34 winners got the 2nd prize of 32,000, and 2,057 hit the 3rd prize worth 1,000.

The jackpot prize for Mega Lotto 6/45 was previously hit by a player from Las PiÃ±as City on July 18. The lucky winner took home P53,920,694.20.

Mega Lotto 6/45 is drawn every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 9 p.m.

Meanwhile, the jackpot prize for Grand Lotto 6/55 amounting to over P90 million is still up for grabs as per PCSO.

PCSO reminded the public that prizes exceeding P10,000 are subject to 20 percent tax pursuant to the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Law.

Prizes not claimed within one year from the draw date shall be considered forfeited by Republic Act No. 1169, PCSO added.
