3,184 pass August 2022 Mechanical Engineer Licensure Exam

A total of 3,184 out of 5,880 examinees have passed the Mechanical Engineer Licensure Examination, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced.

The exam was given by the Board of Mechanical Engineering in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Legazpi, Lucena, Rosales, Tacloban, and Zamboanga in August 2022.

Batangas State University - Alangilan emerged as the top-performing school for the said exam as it achieved a passing percentage of 94.19 percent. It was followed by De La Salle University in Manila, Central Mindanao University, and Mindanao University of Science and Technology Cagayan De Oro.

Meanwhile, Franz Joshua Geronimo Pingol of Polytechnic University of the Philippines Sta Mesa garnered the highest ranking in the said licensure exam with a rating of 95.35 percent.
