The Boyz, ONF, ITZY, Aespa, NewJeans top Hanteo's weekly album chart

K-pop group The Boyz grabbed the No. 1 spot on the weekly album chart in Korea with their latest release.

Data from Korea’s Hanteo Chart showed that The Boyz’s new album “Be Aware” topped the weekly physical album chart with 382,884 copies sold and a physical record index of 448,865.

Hanteo Chart now uses the physical record index, which incorporates the price of an album, in the ranking.

ONF’s “Storage of ONF” placed second with a physical record index of 41,208 based on 22,371 copies sold.

ITZY’s “Checkmate” took third place with a physical record index of 40,412 and 52,392 copies sold.

Aespa’s “Girls” is in fourth place with 36,382 in physical record index and sales of 33,383 copies.

Rookie group NewJeans’ “New Jeans” placed fifth with 26,534.23 in record index based on 23,014 copies sold.

Here is Hanteo Chart’s weekly physical album chart from Aug. 15 to 21 based on the physical record index:
