Quezon municipal police chief injured as Ducati motorcycle struck in Quezon
SAN NARCISO, Quezon – The police chief of Catanauan, Quezon was injured when his pricey Ducati motorcycle was accidentally bumped by a Suzuki motorcycle at Abuyon national road in Barangay Lacdayan here Sunday, Aug. 21.
The Quezon Police Provincial Office (QPPO) identified the victim as Police Capt. Lindley Salez Tibuc, 39.
Local police said Tibuc was driving his Ducati 2022 Scramble Nightshift motorcycle towards Mulanay to conduct a follow-up operation in relation to Simultaneous Anti-Criminality Law Enforcement Operations (SACLEO) when he was struck by a Suzuki Raider 150 motorcycle driven by Bobby Ranes Silvestre, 34, a fisherman and a resident of Barangay Rizal here at 5:40 p.m.
Both were wearing helmets and sustained injuries. They were taken to San Narciso Municipal Hospital.
