Tiktok Philippines held its second awarding ceremony in the Philippines to honor Filipino Tiktokers who have continuously shared their talents, knowledge, and even humor in entertaining millions of local users on the platform.

Tiktok Awards Philippines 2022

Marking as the platform's first physical awarding event, Tiktok Awards Philippines 2022, titled "Panalo Ka Dito, Tara Na!," took place at the New Frontier Theater in Cubao, Quezon City. It was streamed last Aug. 20 at 7 p.m. on TikTok Philippines' official page on the platform, as well as on its Facebook and YouTube accounts.

Like its first edition in 2021, this year's ceremony was as Pinoy as it can get. A traditional Filipino jeepney called "TikTok Jeep" was pulled up in front of the venue to kickstart the event. The night was hosted by podcaster and former UAAP Upfront Janeena Chan and radio DJ Show Suzuki. It featured performances of fan-favorite musical acts, including Darren Espanto, Zephanie, Ken San Jose, Awra Briguela, Adie, Jed Madela, Mavy Legaspi, and Kyline Alcantara, along with special dance performances of Pinoy-pop boy and girl groups BGYO, BINI, VXON, and MNL48. TikTok sibling dance duos Rayver and Rodjun Cruz and Niana and Natalia Guerrero were applauded during the event. While Asia’s Phoenix, Morisette Amon, ended the night with a stellar performance.
