Drug den maintainer, two others arrested during raid in Bacolod


BACOLOD CITY -- Three persons were arrested as the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-Western Visayas raided an alleged drug den in Barangay Singcang-Airport here Sunday, Aug. 21.

Ronald Rollan, 36, of Barangay Singcang-Airport, who was said to be the drug den maintainer, was arrested by elements of PDEA-Western Visayas Special Enforcement Unit during a buy-bust operation.

Two others who were present during the operation were also apprehended.

Police confiscated from them 12 grams of suspected shabu worth P84,000, improvised tooters, lighters, aluminum foil, and the marked money.

The three suspects are now facing charges for violation of Sections 5 (sale of dangerous drugs), 6 (maintaining a drug den) 7 (visiting a drug den), 11 (illegal possession of dangerous drugs), and 12 (illegal possession of drug paraphernalia) of Article II of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, according to PDEA.
