Angeles recovers from Covid-19

Press Secretary Trixie Cruz-Angeles has recovered from Covid-19, she said on Monday, Aug. 22.

Angeles tested negative for the disease after undergoing a seven-day mandatory isolation.

She said she is back to work Monday and feels "energetic."

"Energetic. Am back at work sa (at the) flag ceremony," the Press Secretary said.

Angeles disclosed on Aug. 15 that she contracted the disease and learned about it after taking an RT-PCR test for an official event on that day.

She underwent isolation on the same day and has been working from home since then.

With her recent bout with the disease, the palace official reminded to get vaccinated.

“Kukunin ko na rin po itong pagkakataon na maghikayat na magpabakuna tayong lahat at magpa-booster (I’d like to take this opportunity to encourage everyone to get vaccinated and their booster shot),” Angeles said.
