Adie's 'Paraluman' reaches 100 million streams on Spotify

Singer-songwriter and certified hitmaker Adie is O/C record's first artist to reach 100 million streams.
The 20-year-old singer and songwriter recently posted on his Instagram sharing the good news. "100 MILLIE THANK YOU @spotifyph
," Adie wrote in his caption. Fans and other artists gave their support and congratulated Adie.
Known for his short covers on YouTube, Adie became a hit wonder after releasing his song "Paraluman", amid the pandemic. Releasing his song has gained millions of love and support from his fans.

From there, the singer collaborated with talented artists such as Janine Berdin, Arthur Nery, and Ben&Ben. He is also currently one of the artists for the new season of Coke Studios.
"To be honest, hindi pa siya totally nag sisink in sa akin. Parang kidlat talaga kasi sobrang bilis ng pangyayari. In a span of two years, naka achieve agad ang isa sa mga kanta ko ng ganon na milestone very surreal. Can’t put into words lahat ng emotions. Very grateful lang din talaga," said Adie in a statement.
On June 5, 2021, O/C records released its music video featuring Ivana Alawi and Adie himself, directed by Bella Padilla. The music video has now reached 25 million views on YouTube.
Aside from its gaining views, "Paraluman" also gained a nomination for Wishclusive Contemporary Folk Performance of the Year at the 7th Wish Music Awards 2021.
Adie was also nominated as Breakthrough Artist and Favorite Male Artist in the 34th Awit Awards in 2021.
