Drug pusher nabbed, P84,000 shabu seized in Negros

BACOLOD CITY – Police and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-Negros Occidental arrested a 48-year-old suspected drug pusher in Manapla, Negros Occidental Saturday, Aug. 20.

Suspect was identified as Bimbo Las Piñas of Barangay San Pablo and a street level individual.

Seized from the suspect, who is under the police drugs watchlist, was 12 grams of suspected shabu worth P84,000.

PDEA said Las Piñas was arrested after they received a report through “Isumbong Mo Kay Wilkins!”hotline regarding his alleged involvement in the illegal drugs trade.

Drug charges are being readied against Las Piñas who is now under police custody.
