2 siblings peddling shabu nabbed in Laguna

CAMP VICENTE LIM, Calamba City, Laguna – Police arrested two siblings selling shabu in a buy-bust operation in Cabuyao City, this province, Friday, Aug. 19.

Police Regional Office 4-A director Police Brig. Gen. Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr. identified the suspects as Emma del Mundo, 54, and Luis del Mundo, 60, fish vendors and residents of Cabuyao City.

Seized from them were six sachets containing suspected shabu weighing 15 grams with a Dangerous Drug Board (DDB) value of P100,000, the buy-bust money, and a black coin purse.

The Cabuyao City Drug Enforcement Unit nabbed the suspects.

Suspects and pieces of evidence were taken to the Regional Forensic Unit in this camp for drug test and laboratory examination.

The Del Mundos are detained at Cabuyao City Police Station custodial facility.

They face charges for violation of Republic Act No. 9165.
