Our Lady of Piat Minor Basilica Showcases Newly Refurbished Altar

Last July 22, 2022, the Minor Basilica of the highly venerated Our Lady of Piat, located in Piat, Cagayan Valley, formally presented its newly refurbished altar during the formal turnover led by Alexander and Caesar D. Wongchuking of the Wong Chu King Foundation, Inc. (WCKFI), a non-stock, non-profit organization duly accredited by the Philippine Council of NGO Certification (PCNC), and a member of the Associations of Foundations (AF).

The refurbished altar of the Minor Basilica of Our Lady of Piat was successfully completed through the sponsorship of the Wong Chu King Foundation, Inc. WCKFI has been, and will always be, a dependable partner of the diocese which has supervision of the Basilica of the Our Lady of Piat in its holy devotion not only to the pilgrims, faithful and devotees, but to the entire Roman Catholic Church.

For many years, WCKFI has been performing its philanthropic mission in educational, social, livelihood, medical, religious and other similar fields, exhibiting the values established by its humble founder, a Chinese immigrant named Wong Chu King, whose passion for hard work and sacrifice are matched by his commitment to charity and compassion.
