'Smile' announced as opening night movie at Fantastic Fest 2022

Paramount Pictures’ terrifying new horror feature “Smile” is set to make its world premiere as the Opening Night Film at the Fantastic Fest 2022, running from Sept. 22-29 in Austin, Texas.

To mark the announcement, Paramount has unveiled the main poster art for Smile which may be seen below.

Smile has been described as the intensely creepy debut feature from Parker Finn that'll have even the seasoned Fantastic Fest crowd gripping their armrests in genuine fright.

About Smile 

After witnessing a bizarre, traumatic incident involving a patient, Dr. Rose Cotter (Sosie Bacon) starts experiencing frightening occurrences that she can't explain. As an overwhelming terror begins taking over her life, Rose must confront her troubling past in order to survive and escape her horrifying new reality.

Written and directed by Parker Finn, the film stars Sosie Bacon, Jessie T. Usher, Kyle Gallner, Robin Weigert, Caitlin Stasey with Kal Penn and Rob Morgan.
