Rotary Int'l president-elect McInally hailed as RC Manila honorary member
The Rotary Club of Manila has inducted as its honorary member Rotary International President-elect Gordon McInally, the first time it has done so since its founding.
The oath-taking ceremony was officiated by Rotary Club of Manila President Herminio Esguerra.

It was witnessed by District 3810 Governor Joyce Ambray as well as by several district governors, who graced the club's 7th general membership meeting.
"Honored and humbled to be inducted as an honorary member of the Rotary Club of Manila at their meeting today,” McInally, who hails from Scotland, said.
"A total surprise which caught me completely unawares," he added.
McInally has been a member of the Rotary Club South Queensfery in Lothian, Scotland since 1984.
He has been elected to lead Rotary International for Rotary Year 2023-24, starting July 1, 2023.
Rotary Club of Manila is the first and oldest Rotary Club in Asia, having been chartered in 1919 and has an outstanding record of Rotary service throughout its 103-year history.
