Zumba instructor fatally shot in Negros

BACOLOD CITY – A 30-year-old Zumba instructor was gunned down by an unidentified man on a motorcycle in Barangay IV, Hinigaran, Negros Occidental Thursday, August 18.

The victim was identified as Clint James Tomazar of Barangay Narauis.

Police Lt. Col. Necerato Sabando Jr., Hinigaran police chief, said the victim was walking when the gunman tailed and shot him in the head.

The victim was taken to a hospital where he died.

Police recovered from the crime scene a fired cartridge case from a .45 caliber pistol.

Sabando said the victim has no record with the police or any involvement in illegal activity.

Police are probing the incident to determine the motive of the killing.
