MTRCB announces termination of mobile application

The Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) announced on Thursday, Aug. 18, the termination of its mobile application for the development of a "new, user-friendly, secured, and responsive" online application.

In the meantime, MTRCB advised the public to visit its official website to access the latest MTRCB reviewed and classified materials.

The agency's policies and guidelines can also be viewed through it, MTRCB added.

MTRCB is the agency responsible for the supervision and regulation of public motion pictures, television programs, and publicity materials.

It was created through Presidential Decree No. 1986 signed on Oct. 5, 1985, by late former President Ferdinand Marcos.
