Get to know Liza Soberano's character on first Hollywood project

Actress Liza Soberano will be joining the cast of "Lisa Frankenstein" along with Cole Sprouse and Kathryn Newton.

There, Liza will star as Taffy.

Careless said that director Zelda Williams's movie is a horror comedy featuring a typical high schooler who accidentally reanimated a "handsome Victorian corpse" through a series of chance encounters.

"She then uses the handsome corpse as canvas to create the man of her dreams," they added.

It was only a few days ago, when Liza revealed her being part of the movie, proudly sharing a screengrab of a Deadline article about it.

“Ecstatic to be part of this film,” she wrote.

Prior, rumors about her inclusion circulated after lead Cole and Kathryn followed Liza's Instagram account.

A few months ago, Liza was officially welcome as part of James Reid’s Careless family.

At that time, James, her new manager, is confident on Liza eventually making it to Hollywood.

He hinted then, “For her, it’s more on the opportunities in acting. So, it’s been very promising. That’s all I’ll say for now.”
