Comelec allots P88M for BSKE ballot paper

The Commission on Elections (Comelec) has allocated P88,146,250 for the supply and delivery of 1,000 rolls of mechanical paper to be used as official ballots in the December 2022 Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE).

The Comelec - Bids and Awards Committee revealed the approved budget for the contract (ABC) in its Invitation to Bid.

Interested bidders, the poll body said, may obtain the bidding documents from the BAC Secretariat in Intramuros, Manila, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., from Mondays to Saturdays.

It may also be downloaded free of charge from the website of the Philippine Government Electronic Procurement System (PhilGEPS) and the Comelec website.

The Comelec set the Pre-Bid Conference on Aug. 19 at 2 p.m. which be held online, via Microsoft Teams.

The deadline for the submission of bids, meantime, is on Sept. 2, at 8 a.m., and will be done electronically.

The opening of bids will be done online, via Microsoft Teams, on Sept. 2, at 10 a.m.

The Comelec said bids received in excess of the total ABC shall automatically be rejected at the Bid Opening.
